This fabric is an animal hide embossed pattern and has a pile of 10mm.

Choosing this fabric will turn your weighted blanket into a COOLING WEIGHTED BLANKET. Tencel (also known as lyocell) fabric is an eco fabric that is light weight and very breathable. The feel of this fabric is similar to that of silk. Tencel fabric is perfect for anyone who gets hot easily at night or lives in an environment that is naturally hot. 🚨IF YOU ARE WANTING THIS AS YOUR BACKING MATERIAL PLEASE CHECKOUT WITH THE SIZES MARKED TENCEL.

⭐️How to wash⭐️
Wash on cold using a NO spin cycle only. Don’t use fabric softener. To remove excess water squeeze only. Don’t wring or twist your weighted blanket. Lay flat to dry once damp toss in dryer on low heat till fully dry. Although our weighted blankets are washable that doesn’t mean they should be washed as frequently as your sheets or common blankets. This is a weighted item! Please treat it with care. Excessive washing will ruin your weighted blanket.
⭐️sizes and weights⭐️
We use the formula of 10% of your total body weight plus 1-2 pounds for added growth of a child or weight fluctuations in an adult. An example would be if you have a child that weighs 50lbs he/she could use a weighted blanket that weighs 5, 6 or 7 lbs.
⭐️For weighted items⭐️
The weight is created by glass beads and stitched into squares for an even balance. The fabric containing the weighted glass is a cotton fabric that is stitched into the inside of the blanket. It is not a removable insert. By making the weighted part of the blanket as a closed insert allows the blanket to appear as a regular blanket with no stitched pocket lines on the outer fabric.

Some general precautions to follow are
to not use a weighted blanket on an child from birth to 1 year old. For children between 1-3 years of age you should consult with a pediatrician or a licensed Occupational therapist BEFORE purchase. They will consult you on which weight is best for your child. Understand Sensory Driven employees are not doctors or therapists. Weighted items are not meant for anyone with circulatory problems, open wounds and or respiratory problems. Never use a weighted blanket on someone who cannot independently remove the blanket on his/her own. It is always safe practice to leave the head out so the child/person can breathe.

⭐️Standards and general info⭐️
I make all my blankets with glass beads. However If you want the poly pellets instead of the glass beads that’s possible too. Just message me after purchase if you would like to make this change.
poly pellets are bigger and bulkier and can give a weighted blanket a textured feel.
glass beads are 1.5mm in diameter and give the weighted blanket a smooth finish. The glass beads are Non-Toxic, Non-Allergenic, Non-Combustible and Environmentally Harmless.

Understand cancellations on orders that are made to order, also known as custom orders, will never be granted once a purchase has been made.
Lost & Missing orders
If you are inquiring about stolen mail please read my other message. This message is for missing/lost mail ONLY.
Unfortunately, things can get lost/missing in the mail. You can use the USPS website and fill out their “where’s my package” or “missing mail” form. By doing this USPS will contact your local post office who will then provide additional updates to you on your lost/missing package.
Understand I don't work for the postal service and once your package is dropped off at my local post office I don't have access to any additional info other than the tracking info you have. Buyer and seller see the same updates on the tracking number that was provided.
Turnaround time frame
Since each item is handmade my shipping details vary for EACH listing. If a time frame says 4-6 weeks then you can expect at the earliest 4 weeks TILL I ship or at the latest 6 weeks TILL I ship.
Please read the listing completely to find out the correct shipping estimates. Once your item ships you will be notified via email from ETSY with your tracking info.
I ship my mail with USPS Mon-Fri at 4:30 & Saturday at 2 only. Times are set in eastern standard time. I only ship flat rate or priority mail based on your location which can take 1-3 or 4-7 business days. Shipping will take longer due to holidays or weather so expect delays. Understand usps delays are out of my control. Please plan your purchases extra early during the holidays.
Screen/Monitor & Fabric Swatches
To provide pictures of colors of the fabrics being used I post stock photos. Stock photos are taken by the company that makes the fabric.
Depending on the screen/monitor you are using colors can slightly vary. Understand this is out of my control.
I highly recommend purchasing fabric swatches before you place an order. This will help you see the color, feel the softness, thickness, and give you a better idea of what to expect from your future purchase.
Stolen or missing contents
If your package has been stolen or is missing contents I recommend you dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company ASAP. This is the only way that is quickest for you to receive a full refund.
I have since found out USPS doesn't always issue a full refund even with FULL insurance. For this reason, I will not file for refunds through the USPS system anymore.
What does my price consist of?
My blankets are handmade differently than others. Most weighted blankets have stitched lines on the outer fabric. So you can see the individual squares that hold the weight. Mine don't & require more material.
I only use high-quality fabrics which cost more than generic ones. My blankets material-wise consist of the top outer fabric, bottom outer fabric, insert fabric, batting, & glass beads.
For packaging, I use eco-friendly sealed bags to protect your purchase, satin or velvet ribbon to wrap your purchase in, and custom care/thank you tags. Also, some purchases require a custom box due to how large your order might be.
Understand your price is based on material cost, labor, shipping & Etsy seller fees.
Organic fabric
🚨The organic cotton sateen fabric is a certified 100% organic fabric. For this weighted blanket, only the top fabric is organic. The rest of the weighted blanket consists of a cotton insert, glass beads, and a polyester Minky backing or Tencel backing depending on your choice of backing fabric. Don’t get confused by the name of the weighted blanket as the name ONLY consists of the top fabric being used and what the product is. For example, if a title reads ”geometric organic cotton sateen weighted blanket”. That means it’s a geometric design that’s an organic cotton sateen fabric and the product is a weighted blanket. It does NOT MEAN THE WHOLE WEIGHTED BLANKET IS ORGANIC.
How is my order packaged and shipped?
Once your order is finished I use a satin or velvet ribbon with a custom care & thank you tag to wrap your purchases in.
To package your order I use a 100% recycled poly mailer. It can be recycled and/or reused because it has 2 seals. Then your package is placed in a box to be shipped. I use these two specific pieces to protect your purchase during transit.
Once I’m ready to ship I always use USPS Priority Mail with a required signature for delivery for orders of $100 or more. All purchases that are less than $100 are shipped USPS Priority Mail without a required signature.
Shipping flat rate boxes is a set price that I DO NOT set. USPS sets the price for all shipping. Flat rate is not based on weight its a set price placed by USPS.
Returns/Refunds/changes
All orders are custom & handmade. I don’t offer exchanges, refunds, or changes once an order has been placed.
Please take the time to understand & look at ALL information provided. Take the time to read all the info & get to know what fabrics are used, how your order is made, how to wash , etc.
Understand the materials used are expensive & are purchased immediately after you place your order. I will not eat the material cost, sit on top of materials you just purchased, or provide refunds, or resell a custom order because the item description, FAQs section, or shop policies wasn’t read. You are responsible for your purchase!
Care Tags
I will provide care tags for every item I hand make. This info is also available in the item description under every listing. Unfortunately not everyone takes the time to read it. So I now provide care tags to everyone. This gives me peace of mind as a seller to know you know how to properly care for your weighted item. These custom tags are something I hand make too. The care tag and ribbon cost less than $1 for each order.
